The Francois Godfroy Chapter NSDAR (National Society Daughters of the American Revolution hosted the Traveling Lantern. The lantern is a symbol of the American Revolution and Paul Revere's 1775 ride to warn the countryside of the British invasion. To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Indiana Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) are hosting a massive Lantern Relay across all 92 counties. Ten lanterns are traveling across 9 regions of the state to represent the signal lanterns made famous by Paul Revere's 1775 ride.
