Donate/Volunteer

The Montpelier Community Food Pantry offers lots of ways for you to get involved in serving your neighbors and making our community a better place for everyone! Here are just a few:

Volunteer
There are on-site volunteer opportunities at the pantry requiring only a few minutes of your time, such as unloading deliveries or setting up for events. If you have a bit more time to share with your neighbors, please consider helping visitors during the regular pantry hours or stocking shelves in-between.

Food Donations
You can donate food items  at a food drive collection site (visit the Food Drives page for an updated list). If you would like to be a collection site for a current or upcoming food drive,  you can also do that on the Food Drives page. Contact us to arrange donation drop off at the pantry.  If you are interested in hosting a food drive  at your office, church, or event, reach out in email or over the phone. We will help you at every step of the way.

We want to celebrate our donors! We can schedule a private photo opportunity at the pantry for your organizations newsletter or website. Our friends at the Blackford Directory will provide a "Giant Check" if you would like to schedule a public presentation and photo opportunity.

Community Events
If you are interested in volunteering or donating to a specific community event, just let us know. Additional resources help us bring something special to the children for Easter, Christmas, and other occasions.
